The snow came down. Hard.  The holidays came and went.  Busyness is running rampant.  What better time to go for a slow walk than the middle of a snow storm.  Snow is so quiet, it is like the forest is saying, “hush”.

I’m learning to like grey again.  I’ve been away from the winter greys that I grew up with.  After 3 years of tropical brilliance the grey feels soothing, and once again, quiet.  White and grey are really quite pretty don’t you think?

These days literal representations in photography just aren’t very interesting to me.  Not sure why this is but I search for a way to express the feeling of the moment or the subject.  I’m looking for internal movement.  If nothing on the inside moves when I look at the LCD screen, I keep going.
